There is healing. There is hope.

Trauma Healing Group

A safe, structured space for deep healing

Trauma impacts the mind, body, emotions, relationships, and spiritual life. This group is designed for individuals seeking intentional, guided healing that honors both faith‑informed insight (Elijah House teachings) and clinically grounded therapeutic tools.

It offers a balanced, compassionate approach — combining heart‑level spiritual formation with neuroscience‑informed, trauma‑sensitive practices — within a safe, professionally facilitated environment.

Who this group is for

This group may be a good fit if you:

This group is appropriate for adults who are emotionally stable enough to participate in group work and are not currently in acute crisis.

Our integrated approach

Faith‑based foundations

This group gently explores:

  • Core lies and belief systems formed through trauma
  • Emotional wounds connected to unmet needs and attachment injuries
  • Heart‑focused processing rather than surface‑level behavior change
  • Forgiveness, repentance, and responsibility (handled carefully and without pressure)
  • God's redemptive presence in the healing journey (offered, not imposed)

Spiritual elements are facilitated with sensitivity, consent, and clinical discernment.

Clinical & trauma‑informed tools

Sessions are grounded in evidence‑based practices, including:

  • Nervous system regulation and stabilization skills
  • Trauma psychoeducation (how trauma impacts the brain and body)
  • Parts‑based awareness (e.g., protective parts, wounded parts)
  • Attachment‑informed relational work
  • Boundaries, emotional literacy, and resourcing
  • Somatic and mindfulness‑based practices

All tools are adapted for group safety and paced to prevent overwhelm or re‑traumatization.

What you can expect

This is not a quick‑fix or deliverance‑style group. Healing is approached with patience, wisdom, and respect for each person's pace.

Who benefits

Anyone who is trying to understand themselves and how trauma shows up in the present — especially in relationships.

Why?

Understanding where you are coming from helps you know where you are going.

How

Support groups have a way of easing very heavy subjects — sometimes where we don't feel alone and isolated.

Topics to be addressed

Healing is not meant to be done alone. If you're ready to explore deeper restoration within a supportive, structured community, we invite you to apply.
